    Why is this important?

    During the skill acquiring phase, it’s paramount that kids learn the right technique to avoid developing bad habits. Sometimes having an unqualified coach can harm the child’s development and cost parents more in the long run.

    All our academy coaches have a UEFA A or B diploma from the Union of European Football Association which is the equivalent of FFA A or B in Australia.

    Our coaches have extensive experience training and developing a wide range of age groups.

    With all abilities welcome, the academy emphasizes participation, team effort, discipline, respect, hard work and determination.

    We strive to be 1% better than the last training session.

    Our focus is on developing a well rounded player.

    Based on the FIFA methodology, the program covers the phases and principles of the game (offensive and defensive) as well as tactical, physical and mental skills needed on the pitch.

    Our approach is hand in hand with other academies around the world - we are here to nurture and develop players regardless of their abilities.

    We follow a mix of the French and FIFA methodology. The French methodology has produced some big stars like Zinedine Zidane, Thierry Henry and Real Madrid’s number 9, Kylian Mbappe.

    We don’t hold trials. Spots are available on a first in, first served basis.

    We keep numbers low to ensure quality and that everyone gets time with the coach.

    We don’t believe in locking you into a contract or charging upfront lump sums.

    Pay weekly, no lock in contracts and cancel anytime.

  • UEFA stands for Union of European Football Associations and it’s the equivalent of FFA in Australia or Football Federation of Australia.

    All coaches that have a UEFA qualification apply the FIFA methodology and have a deeper understanding of the game when it comes to tactical, physical and mental aspects needed. They have gone through specific training to nurture and develop children based on their skill level.

    Having a qualified coach developing your child is paramount to ensure your child has the right foundation to learn the right skills and techniques required on the pitch.

  • Yes, we train during the school holidays. The Academy sessions are ongoing until approximately mid December.

  • Water, sunscreen (during summer), shin pads and soccer boots. It’s compulsory that children wear the Academy’s soccer kit for training sessions.

  • The Academy Sunday sessions are at McEwen Reserve (Multipurpose 1).

    The Private Coaching sessions are at Sirius College.
